Urdu Academy of North America presents Gula Hai Ranga Rang

The Urdu Academy of North America held Gul Hai Ranga Rang literary event at which Urdu lovers presented the poetry of their choice. The event was held on December 25, 2016 at the Chandni Restaurant, Newark.
Dr. Ghazala Ansari, who was in the SF Bay Area after a long absence, conducted the colorful poetry program. She provided a humorous touch to the literary event with her witty anecdotes.
Among those who participated in the program included: Dr. Anshuman Chandra, Abdus Sattar Ghazali, Hatim Rani, Kausar Syed, Khalid Iqbal, Mobin Khaleel, Noor Farooqi, Dr. Priya Satia, Tasadduq Hussain Attari, Zafar Naqvi, Zafar Yousefza i.
Dr. Anshuman Chandra stole the show with his presentation of a ghazal popularized by Begum Akhtar.
